MAXIM Photo Shoot

I absolutely love these pictures from Russia’s Maxim mag; they have really turned out beautifully. I look so relaxed in the pictures, but I was actually quite nervous.

I have never posed for a men’s magazine before, even though I have been asked many times. I think it was because I didn’t have a lot of confidence when I was younger. Honestly, things were quite different for me a few years ago, I wasn’t around people who were supportive of me and it made me feel very unsure of myself. But a lot has changed and I’ve really grown to be happy with myself and the way I look and I have done that by focusing on the positive things in my life. One of my main reasons for feeling so fortunate is that I have three very happy and healthy children, but I wanted to show people that just because I’m a mother, it doesn’t mean that I still can’t feel attractive and sexy, that is why I chose to do the Maxim shoot.

We went to the beautiful country of Thailand for the shoot, which has the most amazing beaches and sunsets, so me and Joseph will definitely be going back when we have a chance. The pictures were taken by the famous photographer Antoine Verglas, who has photographed top supermodels and actresses such as Gisele, Jessica Alba and Mila Jovovich, so I knew I was in good hands. But I was still so surprised when I finally saw the pictures, I think it is one of the best photo shoots I have ever done, it certainly was one of the most enjoyable.

My favourite picture is the one where I’m standing in a brown bikini, against the sunset. It’s a lovely photo and it really shows that the hours I spent with my trainer in the gym have paid off!!
